Welcome to Ivory Flamingo--what started out of necessity to raise money for surrogacy, quickly turned our pain into our passion! We create custom appeal that spread messages of hope, faith, self-love, and miracles! We advocate for those struggling with infertility while also celebrating those that finally made it to motherhood!
Our Story
My name is Arienne Martinez--my husband and I have always talked about wanting a big family; unfortunately, that didn’t come easy. After 7 years of infertility, failed treatments, a precancerous diagnosis, surviving bilateral pulmonary embolisms and other unlucky medical complications; we were told surrogacy or adoption were our only options. BUT GOD...
Fast forward to Spring 2023 when we were shocked to hear we could try IVF again after a year of clean biopsies and no sign of precancerous cells. In June of 2024, we transferred our only boy embryo--but he didn't make it. BUT GOD...
In August, we transferred another perfect embryo and about 13 weeks later, we heard a little heartbeat for the first time. I was categorized high-risk due to my history of blood clots, Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), gestational diabetes, and other complications, BUT GOD...
We made it to 39 weeks and I was induced. After 34 hours of laboring, chorioamnionitis with a fever + the shakes, a bladder infection, and so many antibiotics - we were sent back for an unplanned c-section.
BUT GOD...
Estella James Martinez was born at 9:46 pm on April 14, 2025. Our miracle baby.
